First Presbyterian Church of Succasunna

The Season of Advent

We are currently holding worship services virtually.

Please find our church worship guidelines below:

  1. Everyone must wear a mask when attending outdoor worship.  The church has purchased disposable masks for anyone that does not have a mask.

  2. We must physically distance ourselves when gathering.  Pews will be marked in order to space ourselves appropriately.

  3. We need one person to take attendance – for contact tracing if someone does become sick.

  4. No one with any symptoms of illness should attend outdoor worship, we will still be live streaming on Facebook Live as well as uploading the service to Youtube and the church website.

  5.   We have purchased sanitized wipes for the bathroom in the event that the facilities have to be used.  Please wipe down surfaces upon entering as well as leaving.

  6. There will be no bulletins.  The bulletin will be emailed out, so if you can open it on your phone or tablet, you may bring that to worship, or if you can print it at home, please bring your own copy.

  7. There will be no fellowship time following worship.  We will try to continue our virtual fellowship time on zoom.

  8. We are being told that there should be no singing, even with masks and social distancing.  I suppose we can hum along.

  9. We cannot pass an offering plate.  A box will be on a small table where offering can be placed either upon arrival to worship or when leaving.  Offering can always be mailed to the church or you can use our new online giving option on the church website.

  10. We understand that some people are not yet ready to gather in person.  Please only do what you are comfortable doing.

Our Sunday Morning Worship services can be found on the church Facebook page as well as here, on our Worship page.
